Morris Plains, billing itself "the Community of Caring," is a small Borough in the center of Morris County. As of the 2000 Census, the borough population was 5,236. This quaint town is situated between Route 10 on the North Side, Morristown on the South side and slightly West of Rt. 287. It is home to Pfizer, formerly the world headquarters for Warner-Lambert, Arthur's Steakhouse in the center of town, directly across the street from Morris Plains' NJ Transit Rail Station with NYC Midtown Direct train service. The following subdivisions are included in the municipality of Morris Plains: Foxwood, Coventry Park, Holiday Ridge, Malapardis, Historic Downtown Area, Shadow Woods, Glenwood, Wooded Glen, Watnong and Granniss.
