Far Hills, located in Northern Somerset County offers rural style living with easy access to NY by train. With just under 1000 residents and a small business area located in the center of the Far Hills Village, the borough is an old fashioned, quiet place to enjoy. 

Located in the Village is The Polo Club, an upscale Townhome community consisting of 96 homes, whose close proximity to the train station makes it ideal for both New York commuters or those who prefer living within walking distance to everything in town.

In 1971, AT&T acquired 225 acres in Far Hills and an adjoining 140 acres in Bedminster and constructed a corporate headquarters for its Long Lines Division near the river in Bedminster. AT&T pledged to keep the Far Hills lands open space forever and to continue to make the race course available for the annual Essex Fox Hounds Race Meeting.

Far Hills is host to Music at Moorland, a fundraising event for Somerset Medical Center, which annually offers a magical evening of family fun, classical music and spectacular fireworks on the lawn of Moorland Farm.
